Celebrate 'Cinco De Mayo' with a holiday horror that never was...

On Tuesday to celebrate Cinco De Mayo, horror director Darren Lynn Bousman (Saw 2,3&4, Repo! The Genetic Opera, Mother's Day) posted the concept trailer for a movie he had planned back in 2012, for some strange reason the movie never got picked up by a studio so the project was laid to rest and the trailer was forgotten until now. Check out Darren's statement below and watch the trailer and ask yourself the same question I asked myself after watching it - How the hell does Hollywood churn out so many bad remakes and unoriginal crap everyday and go and turn down a movie like this!?

"Part of success is failure and I have seen my fair share of it...

Case and point, CINCO DA MAYO was a crazy script that was sent to me back in 2012 that I fell in love with. I wanted to make it thinking it would be a no brainer...

We went out and shot a little teaser hoping it would raise the money... Sadly, sometimes when you fish you get no bites...

Oh well, enjoy the trailer for the movie that never was."
