Since October 31st, 2015, fans have rushed over to the Starz channel to watch a series that brought back a fan favorite character that spends his time fighting off the Deadites. Yep, Ash, in all his wit and charm was back to entertain the world again. After a ten episode season fans sat on the edge of their seats wondering if we would get a second season... and luckily we did. Well, the Starz channel has decided to brighten everybody's day by letting us know that season 3 of Ash VS. Evil Dead has been confirmed and will premier Sunday, February 25th, 2018!
Now, what could make the news about season 3 even better? Well, Starz decided to let us in on a bit of season 3 storyline by telling us that we'll see Ash discover his long-lost daughter, Brandy Barr, played by Arielle Carver-O’Neill. Also, we know that "The third season finds Ash’s status in Elk Grove, Michigan has changed from murderous urban legend to humanity-saving hometown hero. When Kelly witnesses a televised massacre with Ruby’s fingerprints all over it, she returns with a new friend to warn Ash and Pablo that evil isn’t done with them yet. Blood is thicker than water in the battle of good vs Evil Dead!"
Some of the season 3 stars we'll see is Bruce Campbell (Evil Dead), Lucy Lawless (Xena), Ray Santiago (Meet the Fockers), Dana DeLorenzo (The Mad Ones) and Arielle Carver-O’Neill (Predestination). Now, behind the scenes will have Mark Verheiden serving as Showrunner and Moira Grant as a producer, while Bruce Campbell, Sam Rimi, Rob Tapert, Ivan Raimi and Rick Jacobson serve as executive producers.
I have to say, I'm a bit saddened that I have to wait till February for season 3. I had gotten my hopes up because the first two seasons came out in October, which got me thinking if we get a third season it would hit in October as well. However, I am super stoked that there even is a third season, so I guess it's better to wait than not get it at all.
